EMS Shirt Ursa (b/b)

In remote wilderness first response, SAR/EMS endurance is the mission-critical metric. URSA is designed so first responders can navigate the void unbroken. Integrates with vests, other first responders gear, rappel/climbing and load bearing equipment. The shirt features a fully knitted torso, neck, and cuffs. The knitted neck provides superior comfort, moisture wicking, and breathability while creating a textile tunnel that vents excess heat from the upper torso. Self-adjusting knitted cuffs seal the wrists against dust and debris, yet maintain airflow and wick sweat from the arms. Cuffs are engineered to roll up easily, exposing forearms for comfort during auxiliary tasks, maintenance, or routine procedures. URSA includes an enhanced load-bearing system on both upper arms. Each arm carries a large main pocket with a moisture-resistant zipper and a stealth admin compartment with velcro closure. The external face of each main pocket offers 2×4 MOLLE/PALS webbing with soft velcro panels. This setup lets operators expand capacity with additional pouches or gear and display Team ID, specialty, or nation patches. Two 2.5 x 8 cm reflective strips on the lower MOLLE strip ensure visibility in low light. A 1-meter length of reflective black paracord is included for rapid gear attachment. The shirt is tailored from a proven EMS poly-cotton blend that combines extreme durability, breathability, and elasticity in the sleeves with a high-performance knitted torso fabric. Sleeve material delivers exceptional abrasion resistance and comfort. The poly-cotton mix is far stronger than pure cotton, yet matches its air permeability. Moisture moves rapidly from skin to outer surface for faster evaporation and drying—poly-cotton blends dry twice as fast as 100% cotton. The knitted torso fabric is engineered for permanent wicking performance that never fades with washing. It pulls moisture directly from the skin, spreads it across a wide area, and evaporates it instantly. This continuous process keeps the body cool during high exertion and warm when temperatures drop.
